Purge
- Throw out all the starchy and sugary foods in your pantry, and anything that contains preservatives, additives, or more than one ingredient. That's right: chuck them out, or give them away!
- Grains and seed oils are out.
- Real Food is in.
- Clean out your pantry cupboard, and enjoy all the extra space you suddenly have!
Plan
- Plan your meals for the first week, and go shopping. Think about your nutritional needs, and forget about your idea of what 'breakfast', 'lunch', and 'dinner' needs to look like.
- Buy new plasticware, and clean out your fridge - you're going to need the space for all your fresh veggies and dairy products.
- Pack your food for tomorrow.
